The doctrine integrates thirteen values \u2014 justice, proportionality, responsibility, compassion with discernment, moral neutrality of analysis, transparency, learning, trust, dignity, courage, humility, solidarity and hope \u2014 into a single, coherent system for interpreting the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We do not enumerate these values as a checklist. We treat them as a moral map \u2014 present in the way an argument is conducted, even when it is not named explicitly. The Torah and the Bible as the source of a moral anthropology.<\/p><div class=\"jc-pillar-value\"><p class=\"jc-pillar-vlabel\">Traditional value<\/p><p><strong>Faithfulness.<\/strong> A word given to another person binds even when no one is watching \u2014 on it stand the family, the community and the nation.<\/p><\/div><p class=\"jc-pillar-anchor\">Psalm 1:3 \u2014 a tree planted by the rivers of that does not allow anger to write verdicts.<\/p><\/div><p class=\"jc-pillar-anchor\">\u201cNothing in excess\u201d \u2014 the maxim inscribed at the Temple of Apollo at class=\"jc-pillars-coda\">The Polish tradition joined these sources in a single act: the Constitution of 3 May was enacted in the name of God, by the reason of the Sejm and for the common class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just Council writes for the civic community of the Republic \u2014 for everyone who holds that the quality of a state is measured not only by the efficiency of its institutions, but also by how the state and society treat a person who has made a mistake, suffered harm or dared to tell the truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A culture of justice is not the procedure of a single industry. It grew out of aviation safety and matured in medicine, but its subject is the relationship between the individual and the community: in the family and at school, in public offices and in the courts, in business and in local government, in the public services and in public debate. Everywhere the same question is decided \u2014 whether error leads to learning or to fear; whether accountability is proportionate or retributive; whether trust is being built or used up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We address:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>citizens, families and educators \u2014 because a culture of responsibility begins before institutions come into being;<\/li>\n\n\n<li>those in public service: central and local government administration, the justice system, the uniformed services and civil defence;<\/li>\n\n\n<li>employers, entrepreneurs and organisational leaders who shape the culture of work every day;<\/li>\n\n\n<li>the academic, educational, cultural and media communities that give public debate its language;<\/li>\n\n\n<li>lawmakers and public policy makers, for whom the trust of citizens is the capital of the state.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Healthcare remains one of the areas in which the doctrine is applied \u2014 its practical dimension for hospitals and the health system is developed on <a href=\"https:\/\/dybowski.co\">dybowski.co<\/a>. Here we pose a broader question: how to make a culture of justice a shared social value of a nation which, in its history \u2014 in 1918 and in August 1980 \u2014 rebuilt its state precisely on trust, solidarity and responsibility for the common good.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group jc-section is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<p class=\"jc-kicker wp-block-paragraph\">Structure of the Institute<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where doctrine meets practice<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Institute works on three levels: principle, standard and application. The Doctrine describes what a culture of justice stands on. The Canon sets out the voice in which, and the rules by which, Just Council writes about it.
