Works of Just Council

A doctrine that can only demonstrate reaches the mind and halts at its threshold. A song goes deeper and stays longer — which is why communities have always entrusted to it what they did not wish to forget. This section gathers the works of Just Council: texts written to be sung, in a metre that a collective voice can carry.

They are not illustrations to the essays. They carry the same doctrine in another register: the hymn speaks of building in defiance of mockery, the song of reconciliation of faithfulness in trial, the aviation hymn of trust along the whole chain of responsibility. Each work has a performance note — metre, rhyme, structure — because a text written to be sung is a craft, not an inspiration.
